It's almost November

How crazy is it that in 2 days it'll be November? Maybe it's because we had to pack, move and unpack, but I feel like summer this year went by really really fast. We weren't able to do a bunch of things we had planned and, help!, the same is happening with fall. Unlike in 2013 and in 2014, there will be no Vermont trip this year, since we have so much going on. But it's ok, the colors have been pretty amazing in the city, so we got our foliage peeking fix. ;)

I'm just not ready for fall to be over. It's my favorite season of the year and I didn't get a chance to enjoy it like I'd like to. Believe it or not, I haven't consumed ANY PUMPKIN ANYTHING YET! Crazy, right?! Ha!

I know everyone you know, I know and your mother knows, is saying the same "time is flying!" thing, but it really is. I feel like the year just slipped away. I had so many plans, I put almost none in practice. Ugh.

But enough with the complaining. There's still about a month to enjoy the season and start getting ready for Christmas. I'll try to make the most it!

  1. My whole life is making plans that never come to fruition, that's why I am really happy when something DOES go as planned. You know what? we'll make plans to get drinks and then we'll make it happen!

  2. I agree! I'm just not ready for fall to be over. I know we still have time, but like you said, time is fleeting. Hopefully fall stretches a bit longer this year :)

  3. I'm going to bake you a pumpkin pie to make up for your lack of pumpkin.
