While my parents were visiting, we went to L'Espalier for their Fantasy Tea Party. I had been to L'Espalier for tea before when Chelsea and I did a tea tasting, so it was a completely different experience. At the tasting, we tried a number of different teas, learning about their smells and flavors from tea sommelier Cynthia Gold. This time, she was there only to greet us and bring us to our table. We were seated at a cozy table by one the big windows and had a delightful time sipping tea, talking and eating delicious finger sandwiches and pastries.
Here are other afternoon tea experiences I had in Boston!
