Fall in New England: apple picking

We went apple picking yesterday for the first time and I have to say a new item was added to the list of reasons why I love Fall! Thanks to the girls of The Boston Day Book, I learned about this dog friendly farm and we took Maddox for his 1st little trip of the season. No need to say he had a great time running around and making friends - there were so many doggies there!

Drew Farm is not far from Boston and it's such a cute place! They have trucks to take you to the orchards, but it's a 3 minutes hike if you prefer to walk. So, after eating some of their delicious apple cider donuts, we headed up to the orchards. We walked around filling our little bag with some of the most beautiful apples! They have a fire going on up there and many people were making smores. How fun is that? I wish I wasn't so full from all the donuts! ;)

I took so many pictures, it was hard to choose just a few to post here - sorry for the overload!
