Last weekend, on the spur of the moment, my friend Chelsea decided to book a hotel room in Boston just for the fun of it, and invited me to join her. She chose the amazing Ames Hotel in downtown. The hotel has best windows you could ask for! Great views and awesome for people watching. We had so much fun talking and laughing, watching chick flicks and sipping rosé.
A little of the hotel's history: the Ames Building, with its 13 stories, was the tallest building in Boston when completed in 1889. The building was constructed before scryscrapers were built of steel, and instead is supported by 9-foot thick masonry walls. In 2009, the building was renovated and reopened as the Ames Hotel.
Full disclosure: Chelsea and I were not compensated in any way for this post.
I just really love the hotel and wanted to share how beautiful it is!
