Nails DIY

If you follow me on Instagram, you have probably already seen this picture, but here it is again because I am feeling pretty smart and want to brag about it. ;)

Sometimes I do go to the salon (of course, I love getting pampered), but mostly I do my nails myself. And as such, I hate when the work of many hours (yes, it takes me a long time to get it done...) is ruined by chipped nail polish. That is why I was so excited when I stumbed upon this pin! My nails were already painted in a very similar nude color, and I thought "hey, I could save this manicure and make it work for a few more days if I cover the chipped tips!". Genius, right? ;) At first, I used regular adhesive tape to make the straight lines, but washi tape made it much easier. To be honest, it bothered me a little that the tips were uneven, but it was fun, I think I did a fine job and, most importantly, the manicure lasted a few more days.

Do you have any tips to make your manicure last longer? I would love to know!
