This is an usual Right at home post: it is not about something someone bought from my shop, but about something I bought for a dear friend of mine.
This friend and I have many things in common (we even joke sometimes that we are soul sisters) and one of them is the love for beautiful old things. So, a couple of months ago, when I stumbled upon a 1896 London travel guide, I immediately thought of her. That little book combined three of the things she loves the most (old+travel+London) and had to be hers. And now it is. It left Boston in a USPS box, crossed the Atlantic and got to London. And it looks right at home.
P.S.2: How amazing is that wallpaper in her beautiful London apartment?
one of the best presents I've ever got, may I add!
ReplyDeletewhat a sweet gift and a lovely book!
