Nothing like hearts, sweets and chocolates to kickstart Valentine's Day week! On Sunday, we went to the Local Love Market at the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) and we had a blast! Local Love was the 1st pop-up market organized by the BCAE featuring local makers with handmade and small batch goodies. And what better theme to start off than Valentine's Day? Everything was so pretty (and delicious!), I couldn't stop taking pictures! The vendors were all so nice and their booths were set up beautifully! Here are a few favorite shots from my phone:
The prettiest hair combs ever by Boston Pollen
Little heart by Elm Events
Adorable wall display by Pop & Circumstance
Tea cups and assorted china by Pop & Circumstance
The goodies we brought home from top to bottom, left to right: Cameo Macarons, Pop&Circumstance tea cup with little plate, cold brewed tea from Evy Tea, Pop&Circumstance pompom keychain, Taza limited edition chocolate, Follow the Honey honey spread. (not pictured - caramels from Olives and Grace and the most delicious donuts ever from Union Square Donuts)
Now, something really fun: there was a photo contest on Instagram and I won it with the photo below! How cool is that? Now I have a $50 gift card to use towards a class at the BCAE! [Check all the other pictures tagged #locallove14].
Delicious macaroons by Cameo Macaron
Our week had a great start. Nelson and I had a great time with Janee and her husband, known as The Beard. It was great to see Lauren again and meet Jaime in person for the 1st time. ♡
