As January comes to an end and 2014 settles in, I have been thinking about what I want from this year.

2013 was great to me, but I was in adaptation mode. As much as I like being able to call a third city in the US home, starting up in a new place is always frightening. Will I like the new city? How long will it take until I find my way through town? Will I be able to make new friends? Will people mind my thick Brazilian accent? Will friends and family come visit?

So, as time passes and I am more at ease, I am ready to tackle things I have been wanting to do. First of all, I  have always wanted to participate in one of those "52" project - 52 objects, 52 photos, 52 etc. - and I found just the right one: 52 Lists. With this project I can kill two birds with one stone: participate in one of these projects and get better with doing lists! I really like making lists, but my problem is that I make so many of them in so many random places that I end up loosing them. I'm now on week four!

I have a long list of things I want to do/see/work on in 2014 (yes, a list! But this one is written down in the cute organizer on the first picture, so I will not loose it!) and as I go through it, I will share it with you in future blog posts.

For now, cheers to 2014! I hope you had a great January!

  1. I have to confess, January felt like the LONGEST Month Ever!!
I'm no good with lists, but maybe with a pretty book like that :)
    Happy Feb Friend!

  2. I love lists! And with pretty stationery like that who doesn't want to make more lists?
