Pretty pretty finds - planters

basil, basil leaves, herb garden

A few weeks ago, I shared a picture of my living room and you could see a few plants around. I have, since then, added a few more, but they are all in their original ugly pots, as you can see from the picture of my basil above. So, I have been a little obsessed with finding the "perfect" planter. I want something modern and sleek, without too many details, but that is not plain and boring. Right now, I am loving the ones below.

1. Glazed ceramic planter
2. Porcelain footed planter
3. Porcelain planter with tripod wood stand
4. Earthenware cylinder planter

Do you have any great planter source to share? If you do, please let me know in the comments! I would love to check it out!

You can see more pretty pretty finds here.

  1. Well, I really don´t have a clear source of planters. I find them at flea markets and have lately been very lucky to find some great ones from the 1960´s and 1970´s. The ones that still looks modern today. A bit like no.4. But they are not easy to find. And so I also use terracotta planters instead of the plastic ones.

    1. Yes, those are the ones I love! No, they are not easy to find... I like terracotta planters too, but I just wanted something different for a few of my succulents. Flea markets and thrift shops are a good source, but I've been out of luck recently... Keeping my fingers crossed I can find beautiful pottery like you've been finding! ;)

  3. I'm in the same boat, I usually just go to Home Depot for planters...not sure where else to go. We'll have to keep looking at the flea markets huh? :)
