Inked

For a long time, I've been planning to get a tattoo. But my fear of pain and needles would always win and I would postpone it. A couple of years ago, I decided that it had to happen no matter what, the latest by my  30th birthday. My 30th birthday came. And no tattoo.

Two weeks ago, it was raining and my plans of taking pictures of recent purchases for the shop weren't going to happen. The gray and cloudy day was making me feel a bit down. So, I went out and I finally got my 1st tattoo.

It's a tiny one, the size of a quarter. But I did it! And I love it! I can tick 'get my 1st tattoo' from my list and I'm already making plans for the next one! ;)

  1. Such an adorable tattoo. I love it!

I was equally as nervous about getting my tattoo and as squeamish about needles. I ended up designing my own (a simply line drawn abstract lily) and had it done on my hip.

    1. Thank you, Teresa! I'm loving it! I would love to design my own tattoo, but I'm not that talented! ;)

  2. Oh Ana, you are so brave, and such a delightful tatoo! I love it. Gives me courage to think again about my possible first tatoo.
