Another DIY

Have you actually tackled any of the DIY projects you pin on PinterestTo date, I've pinned 330 projects and have only tried 2 of them. Looking through my DIY board, I noticed there are some other fun and easy projects that wouldn't take too long to be done but I haven't even thought about trying them. Oh, the procrastinator inside me! ;)

But back to the projects. One of them I've already shown here on the blog on this post, it was this brunch cutlery set for my husband's birthday.

The other one I actually did before the cutlery set, but didn't share. It was this recycled paper basket. I didn't have the same kind of paper  used on the tutorial, so I decided to use paper bags. It took me a while to gather all the bags I needed, since I bring my reusable bags to the grocery store, but here is the result:

Two of my friends liked it so much that they are saving their bags so I can make a basket for them. I think it turned out nice, don't you?

  3. Wow --- love the basket. Great job. I will need to keep the envelope cutlery idea in mind for our next party.
